At All4Labels UK, quality, ethics, and operational excellence remain at the centre of everything we do. That commitment has once again been recognised at our Leeds site, following a successful series of audits completed in January and March 2026.
We are proud to announce that the Leeds team successfully maintained its AA grade in the BRCGS Packaging Materials Audit, achieving compliance to the Issue 7 standard alongside successful ISO 9001, ISO 14001, FSC®, and SMETA audit outcomes.
Across all audits, the feedback received from auditors was exceptionally positive. Therefore, reflecting the dedication and professionalism demonstrated throughout the site.
Maintaining AA Standards in BRCGS Packaging Materials
The BRCGS Packaging Materials Standard is one of the most widely recognised certifications in the packaging industry. Designed to ensure product safety, quality, and operational control across manufacturing sites. Achieving and maintaining an AA grade demonstrates that our Leeds site continues to operate to the highest standards of compliance and consistency.
During the audit, the auditor highlighted the significant growth and progression of the Leeds site since his first visit in January 2023. Particular praise was given to the exceptional condition of the factory. Which was described as “second to none.”
Management and employees were commended for maintaining standards supported by effective 5S practices that were clear, consistent, and easy to follow. The auditor also commented that the site represented one of the strongest examples of a BRCGS AA grade he had seen in his role.
Equally important was the recognition of the site culture itself. Throughout the audit process, auditors highlighted how friendly, open, and engaged employees were across the business. Reflecting the positive working environment and collaborative culture built within the Leeds site.
These results are a testament to the dedication and professionalism of the entire team. From production and quality management through to operations and support functions.
SMETA Audit
Alongside the BRC success, the Leeds site also successfully passed its latest SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) with excellent feedback.
The SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) is a globally recognised audit methodology used to assess ethical business practices across four key pillars:
- Labour Standards – including fair pay, working hours, and non-discrimination
- Health & Safety – ensuring safe and hygienic working environments
- Environmental Management – reviewing sustainability practices and environmental responsibility
- Business Ethics – including anti-bribery and integrity standards
As part of the audit process, the auditor reviewed documentation, toured the site, and also conducted confidential interviews with employees to provide an authentic picture of workplace culture and employee experience.
The Leeds team’s successful SMETA outcome reflects the strong standards and values embedded throughout the site. Demonstrating All4Labels UK’s continued commitment to responsible manufacturing practices.
ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 Audits
Alongside the BRCGS audit, the Leeds site also successfully completed its ISO 9001 Quality Management and ISO 14001 Environmental Management audits.
The auditor provided highly positive feedback regarding the site’s integrated Quality Management System (QMS). Which supports all three standards and demonstrates how quality, environmental responsibility, and continuous improvement are embedded throughout operations.
The strength and consistency of these systems were highlighted as standout areas during the audit process, reflecting the site’s ongoing investment in operational excellence and sustainable manufacturing practices.
FSC® Certification
The Leeds site also successfully maintained its FSC® certification, reinforcing All4Labels UK’s commitment to responsible sourcing and sustainable packaging production.
FSC® certification provides assurance that materials used within certified products originate from responsibly managed forests and controlled sources. Maintaining this certification supports customers looking to meet sustainability targets and strengthen transparency throughout their supply chains.
As demand for sustainable packaging solutions continues to grow, FSC® certification remains an important part of All4Labels UK’s wider environmental and sustainability strategy.
